As a new member of Solomon Schechter Jewish Day School (Tzevet), what excites me most is joining a community that is deeply committed to educating the whole child. I’m drawn to Schechter’s student-centered approach, where academic excellence, social-emotional growth, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and Jewish values are woven together to help every student thrive. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside my colleagues and contribute to such a meaningful educational community.

What I love most about teaching is seeing the spark of wonder in a student’s eyes and being part of their journey of discovery. I love when students embrace a growth mindset, take risks, and experience those “aha” moments as they learn more about themselves, a new concept, and the world around them. Creating an environment where students feel known, supported, and inspired to grow is what makes teaching so rewarding.
