What I love most about teaching are the moments when a child has a breakthrough—either they finally understand a topic they struggled with for a long time, or they overcome a social-emotional challenge. It is truly a blessing to facilitate and witness those moments. I also love the sheer joy, humor, and passion that children bring to academic spaces. I learn from them every single day!

What I love most about teaching 1st grade is seeing each student’s progress and growth from the beginning of the year to the end.
