Schechter’s 48-hour community-wide campaign to support our students & school. Our goal is 360+ donations of $18 or more during the campaign.

Join the Chai Five Challenge!
Support our kids. Strengthen our school.

The Chai Five Challenge is Schechter’s annual 48-hour community-wide campaign designed to bring us together to make a big impact! This year, we’re rallying our entire community to help us reach our goal of 360 gifts of $18 or more. When we hit our goal, our school will receive an additional $100,000 from our generous sponsors!

The Chai Five Challenge
Every gift from each member of our community counts — kids included!
This Year’s Goal
360 new gifts of $18 or more
Schechter will receive an additional $100,000 from our anonymous donors!
What's new this year?
For every donation of $36 or more, you’ll get a link to order one complimentary Schechter t-shirt—our way of saying thank you in-style!

Where do donations from the Challenge go?
Donations go directly to the annual Schechter Fund, which supports academics, athletics, arts, technology, professional development, our building & grounds, & more. The Fund also helps provide more than $4 million in flexible tuition (tuition assistance) to our student body.
What if we’ve already donated?
Thank you! We appreciate your support. The Chai Five Challenge invites everyone to make a new or additional donation, bringing us closer to our goal with every gift!
Does my donation really make a difference?
Yes! Every donation counts. Your donation could be the one to help us reach our goal & secure an additional $100,000.
How is the Schechter Fund different from the Parent Organization (PO)?
They are both important! The Schechter Fund makes sure that our school can operate at its very best. The PO provides the extras that enrich the experience for our kids, families, & teachers.
Why are current families asked to donate beyond tuition?
To show our strength as a community that values Schechter & supports our students.
What if we receive flexible tuition?
Donating doesn’t affect flexible tuition eligibility. Let’s aim for 100% participation!
Together, we can make this year’s Chai Five Challenge a huge success! Let’s reach our goal & unlock an additional $100,000 for our kids!
